• FAMILIAR TONES: Our Newhouse Hardware Wired Doorbell Chime uses the classic two-note "Ding Dong" sound for the front door button and has an additional connection with a separate"Ding" for the rear or side door.
• COMPATIBILITY: Our hard-wired door chime can be used with a 24V transformer (not included) ONLY (it will not work with any other voltage transformer). Search “40TR” for a compatible transformer. Using a 24V transformer with a standard 16V doorbell chime is not recommended, because the doorbell and/or chime can wear out.
• STANDARD DIMENSIONS: Our chime's cover is 9” L x 5" W; 6.75” L x 4.75” W x 1.75” H with overall depth of 1.75”. It comes in a timeless white finish that blends with any decor.
• FOR RING DOORBELLS: Our electrical door bell for homes may be suitable for your smart or video doorbell. Please check with the manufacturer first so you can be sure about the compatibility.
• TROUBLESHOOTING: If the chime is not working properly, the issue may or may not be with the chime. The issue could be with the doorbell button, transformer or the wiring. There are troubleshooting steps in the manual as well as on the troubleshooting/FAQ section.
